Goodhart's Dancin' offers partnered dance lessons from social and wedding dances to competitive routines. Whether you're interested in getting a first dance, learning to dance for social ease, or meeting new people in a group class, I can help you out.

I hope to make a big impact in the Steamboat dance community, and I'm thankful to have had the opportunity to teach the residents at Casey's Pond, work with Horizons and Yampa Valley Autism Program, become the artistic director for the annual Steamboat Dance Theatre production, work with the scholarship students who benefit from SDT, choreograph for the Dancing With the Stars CASA fundraiser, begin a Social and Emotional Learning dance program in the elementary schools, and be hired as the instructor for the ballroom youth and tumbling programs at Elevation Dance Studio. 

 

I started my teaching career with Arthur Murray Dance Studios. In my fourth year teaching I was proud to be ranked one of Arthur Murray's top ten teachers in the world.  In 2014 I moved to May I Have This Dance, voted Chicago's Best Dance Studio 2015. I've been fortunate to have worked with some of the best coaches in the world and now I specialize in teaching a wide variety of dance styles to people with a large range of skill levels. I'm experienced in teaching one-on-one, couples, and group classes.

 

Before teaching dance, I put my efforts into music, musical theater productions, art, and a number of sports. I like to combine my knowledge of extracurricular activities to help teach in a clear way, bringing both technical concepts and artistic expression to dance.
